I am a retired water chemist and live in the city of Dallas, TX. The chlorine is so strong that not only do we have a bad odor and taste it would pull the color out of our towels and clothing. I had to try an Aquagizer™. I test my water regularly and although the chlorine is still there we do not have the smell, taste, or burned eyes.* It also took the lime and calcium out and our shower heads are clean and clog-free.  Aquagizer™ is great for bad city water.
